How do I sign up for camp?
Go to the “camps” tab and click on register here then follow the instructions and fill
out all the required information.
 
What should I bring to camp?
It depends on the camp that the player is attending. For the college prep camps
players need to bring shin guards, soccer specific clothing, cleats, and their medical
insurance/waiver form. For the day camps players will need to bring a ball, shin
guards, cleats, soccer specific clothing, a lunch or money for pizza, swim trunks, and
the appropriate medical forms. Water will be provided for all Butler boys’ soccer
camps.
 
Where is the pickup and drop off location?
For the summer day camps the pickup and drop]off site is located by the blue and white tent on the Varsity Soccer Fields Complex on the Southwest corner of campus by the Holcomb Gardens. For the College Prep Camps the drop off and pick up site will be located at the Butler Bowl Soccer and Football Stadium adjacent to Hinkle Fieldhouse.
 
What do I do if there is bad weather?
If there is inclement weather players will go inside Jordan Hall to watch soccer
highlights or soccer related tapes. Hinkle Fieldhouse will also be utilized. The camp
staff will be present to supervise at all times.
 
What kind of curriculum is used?
The camp curriculum can be found under the “curriculum and philosophy” tab
under contents on the website. It is based aged oriented and built around small
sided games and skills competitions to help players improve, have fun, and achieve
their personal best.
 
What is the price structure like?
Elite Day Camp: $215
Full Day Camp: $200
Half Day Camp: $110
Striker - Defender Camp: $160
Discounts of $10 are offered for households that sign up more then 1 camper.
 
 
What is the difference between elite and full day camp?
Elite camp is targeted towards players who have previous competitive club playing experience and who wish to train in a more competitive environment; focusing on more specific tactical topics. Our full day option is targeted towards players who have a recreationally background and want to stay in a less competitive environment.
 
Is a Goal Keeper camp offered?
A goalkeeper camp is offered at the summer day camps lead by the Butler University
Men’s Gk Coach Mike Sanich. Players are able to choose full day or half]day options.
Regular summer camp rates apply.
 
What is the refund policy?
If a camper withdraws from camp at least 48 hours prior to the start date, all funds
will be reimbursed minus a $50 administration fee. 
 
Will Butler University men’s soccer gear be available for purchase at camp?
A camp store will be setup throughout the week at all summer camps where Butler
University men’s soccer NIKE apparel will be available for purchase.
 
Are evaluations provided for campers?
Player evaluations are only provided at the College Prep Camp. The coaching staff
will give each player at the College Prep Camp a personalized evaluation that covers
all aspects of players’ abilities.
 
What items does a camper receive at camp?
Campers are given a Nike camp shirt along with the chance to receive a medal for
various games and skills challenges. Camp balls will be for sale for $25 in case a
camper forgets his or wants to purchase one.
Is lunch provided at camp?
Hot Box Pizza will be sold by the slice for campers at our day camps only. Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch is they would prefer over pizza.
